Ubuntu 11.04 Alpha 2 looking good…
Just in case you’re bored of Windows and fancy a change……and don’t really want to shell out loads of £££ for a Mac, then there is a pretty good alternative for free. Ubuntu 11.04 Alpha 2 has just been released and is looking pretty good. If you have never used any flavour of Linux in the past then Ubuntu may just be a good option for you. I have been using Ubuntu for 3+ years now and when my colleagues ask me why? the answer is simple it just works and works very well.
Just as a point of interest, if you are going to give Ubuntu a shot then you should probably go for the 10.04 (lts) version.
